Before the world knew Him as Savior, Mary knew Him as her son.
She Knew is a beautifully designed paperback Christmas reflection that invites readers to experience the wonder of Christ's birth through the tender heart of Mary.
Through gentle storytelling and heartfelt reflections and personal experiences, this book explores the quiet moments of a mother's love, the weight of God's extraordinary promise, and the faith it takes to trust Him with what we cannot fully understand.
More than a traditional retelling of the Christmas story, She Knew invites you to slow down, step away from the busyness of the season, and consider the wonder of a young mother holding the Savior of the world in her arms.
A meaningful addition to your Christmas traditions, a thoughtful gift for someone special, or a quiet companion for personal reflection, She Knew offers a beautiful reminder that Christmas began with love, surrender, and the fulfillment of God's promise.
A Christmas reflection to be treasured long after the season has passed.
There are seasons of life that change us in ways we can never imagine.
In just a few short years, I have experienced the kind of loss and heartbreak that leaves you questioning things you once believed with certainty. I have said goodbye to people I dearly loved, watched prayers go unanswered in ways I could never understand, and found myself wrestling with a God I have trusted all my life.
I know what it is to believe with all your heart and still wonder why.
As I began reflecting on Mary, I found myself thinking about the things she must have carried in her own heart. She was chosen by God, entrusted with His Son, and yet her journey was not spared unimaginable sorrow.
And somewhere in those reflections, I began to recognize my own questions.
How do we continue trusting God when life looks nothing like we believed it would? How do we reconcile His promises with the pain we have endured?
I haven't found answers to every question. I am still walking through much of that myself.
But perhaps that is part of why She Knew became so personal to me.
It isn't simply a reflection about Mary and the birth of Jesus. It is also a reflection born from a heart still learning what it means to trust God when understanding seems so far away.
My hope is that somewhere within these pages, you will find a moment to be still, to reflect, and perhaps to recognize something of your own journey.
Whether this Christmas finds you surrounded by joy, carrying sorrow, or somewhere in between, I pray She Knew will remind you that faith and unanswered questions can sometimes occupy the very same heart.
With love,
Vickie
If She Knew has touched your heart, I would welcome hearing from you.
