His Goodness

We often look for the goodness of God in the extraordinary—the answered prayer, the open door, the moment when everything finally falls into place.

But His goodness is also found in quieter places.
It is morning light through a familiar window. Something nourishing placed before us. A kindness we did not expect. Strength enough for today. A moment of peace tucked gently into an ordinary afternoon.

Perhaps “taste and see” is an invitation to
notice. To slow down long enough to recognize the small mercies we might otherwise overlook. To discover that God’s goodness is not reserved for the remarkable moments of our lives. It has been woven throughout the ordinary ones, too.
And even in seasons when life does not feel
particularly good, He is still good.

There is grace before us.
There is mercy around us.
There is goodness still to be found.

“Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good!”
— Psalm 34:8 ESV
