Children Are A Heritage
There is a beautiful kind of trust in a child's hand reaching for yours. No questions about where you're going, no concern about what lies ahead. Just those tiny fingers holding on, certain that the hand they have found will not let go.
In this tender painting, the smallest gesture speaks of something much greater. A child does not yet understand the depth of the love that surrounds them, the prayers whispered over them, or the countless ways they are cherished. They simply reach, and someone reaches back.
Psalm 127:3 (ESV)
“Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.”
