Called By Name
Someday, this little gown will be carefully tucked away. The tiny hands and feet will grow, the sweet baby days will become treasured memories, and the child who once wore it will begin a journey of their own. But long after the gown has been folded and the day has passed, one beautiful truth will remain. The Lord who knew this precious child before anyone else will never forget their name.
A delicate christening gown hangs quietly, waiting for a sacred moment. Its soft folds and tiny ribbons speak of a day filled with love, promises, and prayers for a child whose story is only beginning.
Yet the most beautiful promise of all is not found in the ceremony, but in the words of the Lord Himself. Long before we understand His love, He knows our names. Before the milestones, the joys, or the uncertainties of life, we are already known and treasured by Him.
Isaiah 43:1 (ESV)
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.”
