Just Rest
Soft shades of lavender and lilac spill across the petals of a single hydrangea, its blooms unfolding with quiet grace. The painting whispers a gentle invitation: to step away from striving, to release the burdens we carry, and to rest in the presence of God. Just as the flower leans effortlessly into the light, so too are we called to lean into His care, finding peace in stillness and renewal in His love.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” — Matthew 11:28–29
