Hope In The Journey-Breast Cancer Awareness
The journey begins with the awareness and discovery represented by the ribbon. Notice that it continues throughout the painting to depict the long and sometimes winding journey ahead. The three poinsettias strategically placed as supporting elements throughout the painting represent family and friends and caregivers who are a vital part of the journey. The three ornaments portray the beauty of each cancer patient even when the harsh treatments may rob them of hair (It can never rob them of their beauty). The evergreen limbs are a beautiful representation of life and life eternal. The candle in the center gives the depiction of strength, courage, and the Light of Hope. The three trees represent the Father, Son, and Spirit.
“ Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD.” Psalm 31:24
