Again, Grandpa, Again
With laughter in her eyes and a twirl in her dress, the little girl dances for the one who delights in every spin. Her grandfather’s hands rest open, steady, and sure—offering encouragement, joy, and the kind of love that asks for nothing more than again. This tender scene is a reminder of how God delights in us—not for perfection, but for presence, for the joy of being with His children.
“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17)
The rhythm of love is learned in these moments—grandfathers and granddaughters, faith and family, God and His children—where joy is multiplied and love is endless.
“Joy is found not in the perfect steps, but in the laughter of the dance.”
“Love is the song that asks for ‘again’ and never grows tired.”
