Daisy Picking Daisies
A little girl wanders through a sunlit meadow, her white dress brushing gently against the tall grass. She clutches a fistful of daisies, her small hand grasping what feels like the whole world’s joy. The sky above is wide and endless, the clouds like brushstrokes of heaven’s own hand. Childhood wonder is captured in this simple act—gathering flowers not for their worth, but simply because they are there, because they are beautiful. It is the kind of moment that whispers of innocence, reminding us of Jesus’ words that we, too, must become like little children to enter His Kingdom.
“Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.” — Matthew 6:28–29
“To pick daisies with childlike joy is to gather a bouquet of heaven’s promises—pure, unearned, and overflowing with grace.”
