Held In Trust
Balanced upon a bending branch, a small nest rests in quiet surrender — fragile, yet secure. It does not cling to certainty, nor does it resist the movement of the wind. Instead, it trusts.
This painting speaks of the sacred tension between holding and releasing — the tender work of nurturing what we love while entrusting it to God’s care. Like motherhood, like faith, like grief, it is an act of courage to cradle something precious knowing we cannot control its journey.
The branch bows but does not break. The nest remains.
In seasons when life feels uncertain, when hearts carry both love and ache, we are reminded that strength is not always found in grasping tighter — but in resting deeper.
Here, courage looks like stillness. Faith looks like surrender. And hope rests quietly, held in hands greater than our own. It’s an invitation to release fear, to trust His timing, and to believe that even in seasons of waiting or loss, life is being carefully held.
"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him." — Psalm 28:7
