He Thinks He's A Chicken
He stands among them with quiet assurance, close enough to be counted, near enough to be safe. There is no rush to correct him, no need to send him away. Because God already knows exactly who he is. We are never overlooked in the crowd.
Never mislabeled. Never mistaken for someone else. The Shepherd knows His own, not by appearance alone, but by name, by purpose, by love. And even when we find ourselves standing somewhere unexpected, we are still fully seen.
God knows me by name, and I belong to Him.
