Christmas Angel
She stands in quiet grace, her wings soft and radiant, holding a fragrant bundle of holly and evergreen, bound with a ribbon of crimson. Her downcast eyes reflect both reverence and peace, as though she carries a heavenly message wrapped within the beauty of the season.
The Christmas Angel reminds us of the holy night when the heavens broke forth in song and glory. Just as the angels long ago proclaimed tidings of great joy, so too does this image whisper the eternal promise that light shines brightest in the darkness.
"And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.'" — Luke 2:13–14
At Christmas, heaven leans close to earth, and in the stillness we are reminded that peace is a gift born of love.
"Angels are not only messengers of heaven, but reminders that God’s presence is nearer than we know."
